Kristen Ivey

Kristen has founded several businesses over the last 17 years; all centered around behavior and the effects the environment can have on both people and canines.

Kristen works with animal shelters across the country, and her creative nature, paired with her desire to help canines, has led to the creation of various programs, classes, and businesses aimed at saving lives and helping people and canines live better.

In 2011, Kristen founded her own animal shelter and behavior center, a non-profit called Canine Rehabilitation Center and Cat Sanctuary (CRCCS). Today, the non-profit (CRCCS) provides canine rehabilitation and various behavior services to animal shelters, dog trainers, and dog owners nationwide and beyond. Kristen does more than just run the business; Kristen works hands-on daily and has logged over 31,000 hours in physical handling and training directly with the dogs themselves.

Kristen has been fully immersed in studying behavior and working with canine behavior cases for the last 15 years. Since 2015, Kristen has worked as Kevin's main assistant as he helps his toughest behavior cases overcome. Kevin and Kristen's shared passion for canine behavior work led to the Canine Education Center (CEC) creation in 2020.
